There are two different ways to obtain a free no obligation quote. We can either send you a budget quote based on the information that you have supplied us with, and then if you are happy with this we would come and do a survey of your property and have a chat, just to make sure that we fully understand your requirements and that we can deal with any concerns that you may have. Or if you prefer we can book you straight in for a survey without sending a budget quote and give you a fixed price.

Surveys can be undertaken until early evening or Saturday mornings to suit your requirements.

The first purpose of doing a survey is so you can meet someone from the company who are going to move you. When moving house people will be moving your personal possessions so you want to make that you feel comfortable with the people moving you. The second purpose is so we can see exactly what you have so we can ensure that we have the right amount of people on the job and the right vehicle is used.

Full Packing Service

When moving house there are many things that you need to do. One of the biggest jobs to undertake is packing. Packing is long and tedious and items need to be packed carefully in order to ensure that there is no damage to them. We use packing paper and bubble wrap to ensure your delicate items do not get damaged.

Protecting Your Belongings

Alexander James Removals Gosport will do their upmost to protect your furniture from being damaged. Your furniture will be protected by removal blankets and secured with webbing straps to ensure that they arrive in as good condition in your new house as they left your old property. We have customer made transit covers for pianos, televisions and 3 piece suites, providing the highest degree of protection whilst being moved.
